Accelerate Sustainability in Civil Operations
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Environmental Sustainability Manager to accelerate our transition to a more sustainable business.
- Drive environmental improvements across associated trades.
- Possess advanced knowledge of ISO14001 compliance and assurance, including key environmental aspects.
- Lead management reviews, ensuring procedures and plans are continually improved.
- Have a good working knowledge of strategic aspects such as decarbonisation, circular economy, climate adaptation, and biodiversity.
- Adhere to industry standards, company procedures, and legal requirements.
This project-based role is located in Cork and requires a strong understanding of environmental certification/assessment tools, such as BREEAM, LEED, WELL, and NABERS.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering environmental improvements within the sector and across associated trades.
- Possess advanced knowledge of ISO14001 compliance and assurance, including key environmental aspects.
- Lead management reviews, ensuring procedures and plans are continually improved.
- Implement the Environmental Operating Plan to ensure mitigation measures from the EIS, NIS, and EOP are executed successfully during construction.
- Project-based work involves collaborating with local operational leadership through matrix management as required.
- Provide necessary reports, analysis, and forecasting to support the team's decision-making process.
We are looking for an experienced and qualified Environmental Sustainability Manager with:
- A proven track record of delivering environmental improvements within the sector and across associated trades.
- Advanced knowledge of ISO14001 compliance and assurance, including key environmental aspects.
- Full membership and/or chartership with a relevant professional institution.
- Good knowledge and preferably experience with environmental certification/assessment tools (e.g., BREEAM, LEED, WELL, NABERS).
