Human Resources Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR or a related field, or be working towards a CIPD qualification. They will have previous experience of HR in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a manufacturing company.

The role involves supporting the People Management Process, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, wellbeing, talent development and more. The successful candidate will work closely with the Group HR Manager and other members of the HR team to develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the administration of HR systems, including SuccessFactors (SAP) and SharePoint.
  • Manage logistic arrangements for training programmes and associated meetings.
  • Work with the HR team to develop an onboarding process and associated collateral and resources.
  • Coordinate workplace events that drive focus on engagement and wellbeing across the business.
  • Develop content for and update the Employee Portal to provide communication to colleagues across the business.
  • Review current workplace HR policies to ensure alignment with relevant employment legislation.

Requirements:

• Degree in HR or a related field, or working towards a CIPD qualification.

• Previous experience of HR in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a manufacturing company.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.

• IT proficient with strong capability in working with systems and software applications.
