Workplace Safety Role

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Professional to lead our safety team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

You will work closely with local management to identify and mitigate potential risks, and develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Your role will also involve training and development of team members, as well as collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Manage on-site teams to ensure compliance with health and safety laws, guidelines, and company policies.
  • Analyze data using internal reporting tools to provide leadership with information to make safety-related decisions.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs to improve the safety culture.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Safety, or a related field.

Relevant experience managing a team and complying with local Health and Safety legislation.

Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.

Strong customer orientation.
