Job Title: Assistant Beverage Manager

Job Description:

An experienced beverage manager is required to oversee the smooth operation of our hotel's bar. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in hospitality management and be passionate about providing excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will lead a team of staff, ensuring that all aspects of the bar are run efficiently and effectively. This includes managing stock levels, receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.

The role involves liaising with suppliers, receiving stock, and conducting regular stock checks. You will also be responsible for managing payroll and rosters, as well as implementing effective security measures to protect cash, credit cards, and other assets.

In addition, you will be expected to maximize revenue by identifying opportunities to upsell and promote the bar's products. This may involve analyzing sales data, setting targets, and developing strategies to achieve them.

You will work closely with the team to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and that the bar's computer system is used to its full potential. This includes managing cash handling, banking, and reporting.

The role also requires you to develop and implement training programs for the team, including departmental induction and SOPs. You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and motivating staff to deliver exceptional results.

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience in hotels and hospitality. You should be highly organized, able to multitask, and possess excellent communication skills. A strong understanding of all aspects of a hotel is essential, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative.
