Cloud Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Transformation Specialist to join our team. As an EMEA Solutions Architect with focus on Application and Infrastructure Modernization, you will create and publish reference architectures, code samples, and decks to help our customers solve their security and infrastructure issues.

Our team works closely with various stakeholders from Solution Management, Product, and Customer Engineering to develop technical materials for go-to-market strategies. In addition, we collaborate with customers to validate our approach and meet their specific needs. With Google Cloud, we empower businesses worldwide to digitally transform and accelerate growth by leveraging cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate technical discussions with customers, partners, and experts.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise in public cloud, security, and infrastructure while promoting Google Cloud solutions.
  • Support account managers and Sales Engineering teams throughout the customer engagement process.
  • Develop and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations tailored for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Contribute customer and market feedback to product and engineering teams to inform product direction.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in solution engineering.
  • 3 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
  • 3 years of experience in system architecture and reading code (e.g., Python).

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in community involvement, volunteering, or mentorship.
  • Knowledge of public clouds including platform and infrastructure as a service.
  • Ability to lead and organize AI-based custom-developed cloud solutions.
  • Capacity to educate on behalf of the Google Cloud Platform.
