Lead Cybersecurity and Data Protection Professional

As a highly skilled Cybersecurity and Data Protection Lead, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on governance, risk management, and compliance to senior leadership teams.

Utilizing your strong technical understanding of personal identifiable information (PII) and data flows, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of security and privacy governance programs in line with evolving threats, technologies, and regulations.

With your exceptional communication skills, you will translate complex technical concepts into business terms for diverse audiences, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-value advisory services to clients on governance, risk management, compliance, and data protection.
  • Leading the development and implementation of robust security and privacy practices across business operations.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve the design and effectiveness of clients' current security and privacy controls.
  • Conducting privacy impact assessments and advising on best practices for handling sensitive data.

Additionally, you will support internal privacy and data protection matters, ensuring our organization remains compliant with relevant laws, frameworks, and best practices.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Proven senior leadership experience in cybersecurity, compliance, and data protection management.
  • Minimum 6+ years in cyber risk and data protection roles.
  • Strong experience engaging with C-level executives and boards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
