Job Title: Chief Security OfficerAbout the Role

The organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Chief Security Officer. This role will be responsible for leading the investigation team in conducting incident investigations involving data loss and theft, policy violations, and suspicious activity within the bank's infrastructure.

The successful candidate will draw evidentiary conclusions, identify root causes, and provide corrective recommendations to ensure the highest level of security and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handling and investigating Incident Reports filed via application
  • Handling ad hoc requests from various departments to support an investigation
  • Analyzing and determining root causes/providing corrective actions to the business
  • Maintaining a caseload and meeting investigative Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Providing comprehensive and concise written investigative summaries
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other investigative units
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication skills at all business levels
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge & familiarity with data analysis including log review
  • Knowledge of Defender
  • Subject Matter Expert in utilizing Splunk software with proficiency in creating and executing and analyzing queries
  • SME in the use of Splunk software and ability to create and run queries
  • A keen eye for identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and take the initiative to promote such enhancements
  • Detailed understanding of Cybersecurity risks
  • Detailed understanding of intruder techniques
  • Good understanding of Technology architectures and concepts
  • Ability to validate industry standards certifications from(ISC) 2, SANS (security +)
