We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Senior Architect. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to deliver architectural services across the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architectural design process for assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Champion a safety-first culture throughout all project phases, promoting a safe working environment for everyone involved.
  • Engage with stakeholders to define project scope, programme requirements, and budget parameters, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Manage external consultants during design and construction stages, leveraging their expertise to drive project success.
  • Oversee contract administration during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
  • Maintain detailed project implementation plans, covering scope, schedule, and cost, to ensure project goals are met.
  • Evaluate technical reports, manage consultants, and develop solutions to technical challenges, driving continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • NFQ Level 8 Degree in Architecture or related discipline (or equivalent qualification).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a consultant architect with a strong project portfolio.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish regulations, legislation, and guidance.
  • Strong design awareness, balancing commercial viability, budget, and procurement constraints.
  • Proven track record delivering large, complex architectural projects, including leading in-house and external design teams.
