Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead our residential development projects in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor construction drawings, specifications, and work requirements.
  • Attend weekly – fortnightly meetings with Contracts Director and Client to update them on project progress.
  • Liaise with design team to ensure works are completed according to programme.
  • Report to and support the Contracts Director to ensure smooth project completion.
  • Direct and manage personnel, site staff, and subcontractors, and coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops, and plan actions.
  • Monitor construction to ensure quality of work and coordinate with Contracts Manager, Site Engineers, and Service Coordinators to ensure accurate and timely information.
  • Work closely with Senior Engineer to ensure quality of works being completed.
  • Coordinate all finishings, including internal and external, to prepare houses for sale.
  • Handover houses to client in preparation for sale.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
  • Proven record of managing residential projects from start to completion.
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a senior management role.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines and update programme when necessary.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
