Senior Intellectual Disability Support Specialist

This role offers a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and children with intellectual disabilities/ABI/Autism. As a dedicated Senior Social Care Worker, you will be part of a dynamic team providing comprehensive care and support nationwide.
Responsibilities- Deliver person-centred care and support, meeting the practical, physical, and emotional needs of residents.
- Act as a key worker for named residents where necessary.
- Support residents in achieving their daily plans, individual goals, and education.
- Assist with living skills such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, attending appointments, and family visits.
- Participate in on-floor duty teams, coordinating shifts, and supervising other staff members under direction.
- Hold a qualification at Level 7 or above to register as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
- Have experience working in residential, respite, or day service settings with persons with intellectual disabilities.
- Knowledge of quality assurance practices and their application to service provision.
- Understand Person Centred Planning, clinical and human resource policies, and relevant legislation.
