Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Description:- A maintenance professional is sought to work with our client in Leinster, Ireland. The position is permanent and full-time.
- Evaluate and maintain compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental procedures during planned, preventative and corrective maintenance on plant, machinery and equipment.
- Determine faults, identify maintenance issues, and perform general mechanical repairs, completing relevant risk assessments and method statements.
- Maintain and update the maintenance management system, including recording all work carried out, equipment updates and generating performance reports.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently, providing technical support where required.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist with work projects to enhance plant operations and maintenance processes.
- An essential qualification is Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting, with a minimum of 2 years' experience as a mechanical maintenance fitter, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills are necessary, with the ability to repair, optimise equipment performance, and provide engineering support, including reporting and suggesting improvements.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems are also required.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, along with a hands-on approach, are necessary for multitasking, adapting and focusing on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
