Team Leader - Social Care
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Centre Manager and Deputy Manager to create a safe, caring, and professional environment for young people and staff.
- Provide frontline care and develop professional relationships with staff, young people, and their families.
- Assist in overseeing the Centre's operations in accordance with national standards and legislation.
- Lead the therapeutic approach alongside the manager and team, coordinating appointments.
- Liaise with professionals regarding care plans, referrals, and inspections.
- Oversee key working and report progress/issues to the manager.
- Maintain files according to standards and report issues.
- Participate in meetings with outside professionals to promote the organization.
- Act in the absence of the Deputy Manager/Manager for periods exceeding one week.
- Uphold confidentiality in staff discussions.
- Facilitate open communication between staff and management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualification at Level 7 or above, eligible for registration as a Social Care Worker with CORU.
- At least 2 years of full-time relevant experience working with children/young persons.
- Full manual driving license valid in Ireland.
- Full eligibility and availability to work without restrictions.
