Job Opportunity

We are recruiting highly skilled fitness professionals with a passion for Health and Fitness to deliver an exceptional experience for students and staff across our fitness facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver a full range of member services including gym inductions, fitness programmes, programme reviews and fitness assessments.
  • Develop and lead a variety of group fitness classes including spinning, circuits, exercise to music, strength & conditioning, kettlebells, toning and bar to music classes etc.
  • Maintain the highest levels of professionalism at front of house and effectively handle all member queries.
  • Ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are consistently met.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with all users.
  • Enforce codes of conduct to prevent detrimental usage and behaviour.
  • Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment for different activities and events.
  • Responsible for the safe handling, transportation, storage and maintenance of all centre equipment.
  • Display a helpful and professional attitude at all times, responding to user needs promptly.
  • Ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Onsite work required.
  • Report accidents or dangerous occurrences immediately to the Gym Team Lead or Health & Safety Manager.
  • Aware of emergency procedures and assist in controlling situations.
  • Assist with routine safety inspections, ensuring all equipment is maintained in a safe condition and defective equipment is repaired before use.
  • Record and report user feedback to the Gym Team Lead.
  • Support fitness studio activities as required.
  • Comply with statutory legislation and department rules for welfare and safety.
  • Represent the best interests of the Department at all times.
  • Participate in training and development programmes as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.
