Community Engagement Manager

Bentley Systems, the infrastructure engineering software company, relies on expert communities to help them design, build, and operate better and more resilient infrastructure.

We're hiring a Community Manager to lead the engagement and growth of 5-10 expert-led 'Communities of Practice'. This role reports to the Chief of Staff in the Office of the CTO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitating expert community leaders to deliver impactful content and manage associated tasks.
  • Streamlining community tools and processes for seamless user experience.
  • Creating sustainable content and frameworks to support thriving communities.
  • Conducting competitive analysis to maintain a leading-edge community strategy.
  • Collaborating with product, engineering, marketing, and other teams to foster staff participation.
  • Promoting external experts and internal colleagues' contributions.
  • Researching newsworthy items from across the organization.
  • Maintaining team intranets, Teams channels, and other internally visible sources.
  • Drafting comms for Senior leaders (written, audio, visual – including video, slides).
  • Planning and maintaining a calendar of regular Comms, Events, and All Hands for the Product & Technology organization.
  • Collecting feedback and listening to employee sentiment.

Requirements:
Participating in software environment, building communities, public speaking, blogging, content development, event facilitation, diverse network, social media platforms, and managing complex situations.
