Job Overview

The role of Senior Payments Analyst entails a multifaceted approach to managing financial processes and ensuring the integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Prepare and review consolidated P&Ls and balance sheets for internal commercial reporting purposes and group consolidation.
  • Accounting Processes: Maintain financial ledgers and accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee key business processes throughout the year, including month-end and year-end cycles, internal and external audits.
  • Cash Management: Coordinate and manage stakeholders and contributors internally and externally for GPN International divisional group and statutory audits.
  • Treasury Duties: Liaise with Group Treasury function to ensure timely completion of commercial and statutory financial reports.
  • Control Environment: Promote and maintain a rigorous control environment with documentation and controls compliance testing.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement change to enhance the control environment.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to all accounting, tax, and legal requirements across countries in the region.
  • Finance Function Development: Assist Financial Controller International in developing finance function ways of working and supporting commercial operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience with SAP ERP system required.
  • Ability to map and create process improvements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate with people at all levels.
  • Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Must be able to prioritize, organize, and delegate assignments.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.
