Cyber Security Specialist

Job Description:

Protecting organizations from cyber threats is a critical mission. As a skilled Cyber Security Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying security technologies to safeguard networks, systems, and applications.

To achieve this goal, the successful candidate will have experience in evaluating and applying security tools to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen defenses. This includes implementing security controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls as configured and deployed.

  • Security Controls Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy security technologies to protect against cyber threats.
  • Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses and strengthen defenses.
  • Expertise in Security Tools: Evaluate and apply security tools to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Maintain compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate security into applications and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identity & Access Management: Implement Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions across Okta, Azure AD/Entra ID, AWS IAM.
  • Endpoint Privilege Management: Deploy and configure Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) tools such as CyberArk.
  • Automation and Scripting: Develop automation and scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, SQL.
  • SOAR Workflows: Author SOAR workflows for incident response and remediation.
  • Cloud Security: Secure cloud environments using native cloud security tools and SIEM solutions.
