Group Quality, Environment and Health Lead

This is a senior appointment with significant impact on promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and embedding robust QHSE management systems across the business.
Responsibilities- Lead and implement QHSE policies and procedures across multiple sites.
- Drive proactive health, safety, environment, and quality initiatives.
- Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Monitor legislative developments and industry standards, advising senior management on changes and implementing necessary updates.
- Carry out risk assessments, identifying gaps and implementing corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare detailed QHSE reports for senior management review.
- Manage training and awareness programmes.
- Maintain records of QHSE audits and inspections.
- Provide expert advice and support to operational teams on QHSE matters.
- Occupational Health & Safety Management qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience managing QHSE functions across multiple sites.
- Strong knowledge of QHSE laws, guidance, and sector-specific regulations.
- Demonstrated experience of ISO management systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work strategically and operationally.
A strong track record of delivering QHSE results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essential.
