Job Description

We are seeking an experienced EHS Professional to join our team as a Health, Safety and Environment Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist advice and support on all matters relating to the Environment, Health, Safety and Welfare across the business.

The ideal candidate will lead the development and delivery of EHS strategies, become a Subject Matter Expert and ensure safety standards are effectively implemented across the business.

This role will be an integral part of the Project Team and will involve working closely with colleagues, clients and subcontractors to identify and control High-Risk Activities (HRAs) on site.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective EHS management systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop Method Statements (RAMS).
  • Investigate incidents and track corrective actions to closure.
  • Schedule and record statutory inspections in the SharePoint Safety hub.
  • Manage and maintain ISO standards.
  • Provide EHS documentation and project support as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH or equivalent).
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in an Environmental, Health & Safety role (construction/engineering preferred).
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • IT literate and comfortable with SharePoint and MS Office.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to sites.
  • Demonstrate people-management and coaching skills.
