Production Engineer Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with trading strategy and infrastructure development teams, contributing to the configuration and deployment of new technologies and strategies.

  • Develop scripts for monitoring production environments and dependencies.
  • Work closely with the Platform Engineering team on server imaging, testing, and deployment.
  • Act as liaison between trading desks and network, security, market data, and platform teams for system-level production issues.
  • Monitor and support highly distributed production systems.
  • Provide multi-level support for traders, strategists, and quantitative researchers.

  • Contribute to developing and supporting cutting-edge hardware and software solutions with real impact.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, network architects, technical analysts, and software developers to create competitive edge through best-in-class technical solutions.
  • Participate in fast-paced environments working with traders, quants, and other developers.
  • Strong quantitative skills and good understanding of financial instruments and markets are preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, bash, shell) is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with traders, quants, and other developers.
  • Ability to work in office 5 days per week.
