Job Title: Infrastructure Operations Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee road maintenance contracts in Kerry and Cork County Councils. As a seasoned Infrastructure Operations Director with a background in Civil Engineering, road servicing or quantity surveying, you will manage day-to-day operations, costs, crews, and materials for each project.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily site operations and ensure that all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and schedules
  • Manage site resources (labor, materials, equipment) to maximize productivity and minimize waste
  • Coordinate sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
  • Conduct site inspections and address safety concerns to enforce health and safety protocols
  • Monitor progress and update senior management on a regular basis
  • Liaise with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of construction management experience, with a focus on road projects
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Full driving license is essential
