Customer Support Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our customer support unit, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving issues related to electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
- Provide first-line support for electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
- Respond to service calls and carry out routine maintenance inspections
- Assist with minor installations and system upgrades required
- Accurately complete service documentation and reports
- Collaborate with senior engineers on larger service tasks
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working order
To be successful in this role, you will need 13 years of experience in electronic security systems or a related field. You should have knowledge of CCTV, access control, and/or alarm systems, as well as experience working with clients in the commercial and retail sectors. Familiarity with networking and IP-based systems is also essential, along with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to follow procedures. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary, as well as self-motivation and a customer-first attitude. A full, clean driving license is also required.
