Structural Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Expert to join our team in Dublin. This role will involve leading the structural design and coordination for data centre projects, ensuring compliance with local building regulations, Eurocodes, and international design standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing detailed calculations, reports, and design documentation for steel and reinforced concrete structures
  • Collaborating with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, and contractors to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Conducting structural analysis and modelling using industry-standard software (e.g., Tekla, ETABS, STAAD.Pro, Robot)
  • Overseeing site inspections and providing technical support during construction phases

To be successful in this role, you will require:

Key Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent, or actively working towards chartership
  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience in structural design, with at least 2 years on mission-critical or large-scale industrial projects (data centre experience highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of Eurocodes, Irish building regulations, and international design standards
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, and excellent AutoCAD/Revit skills
