Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our manufacturing site.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams and driving production excellence. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a large team of operators to achieve production output targets
  • Maintaining high levels of shift performance and driving the team to meet relevant KPIs
  • Collaborating with Planning to ensure plan fulfillment, throughput, efficiency, quality, cost, and OEE delivery
  • Managing colleague performance and developing effective communication measures
  • Ensuring product quality compliance with RFT, Hygiene, Incident Reporting, Change Control, and technical standards
  • SUPPORTING audits and customer visits as required and implementing actions arising from audits and visits
  • Completing Oracle system requirements to maintain accurate financial data
  • Supporting Continuous Improvement using established tools and techniques to root cause issues and drive improvements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Exceptional technical skills with a proven ability to consistently understand complex processes
  • A strong results orientation with a proven ability to prioritize and organize work to ensure delivery against production and bottom-line targets

  • A Third Level qualification in a relevant discipline (Food Science, Technology, Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Previous relevant experience in a similar role
  • A proven record in maintaining safe work environments
  • Capability to understand underlying processes across the full remit of the role
  • Strong business acumen, customer focus, and commercially aware
  • PASSION to apply key continuous improvement principles in a fast-moving production environment
  • Performance driven with a proven track record of achievement, high integrity, and capability to exercise sound judgement in decision-making
