
Senior Event Coordinator

As a Meetings and Events Manager at a leading hotel in Cork City, you will be responsible for the effective management of all conferences, meetings, and events.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the Conference & Banqueting team to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction.
- Ensure employees achieve optimum revenue and service standards.
- Monitor departmental performance and interactions with other departments.
- Knowledge of technical equipment and software is essential.
You will ensure that all charges for meetings, conferences, and dinners are accurate and followed through prior to guest departure. You will work closely with Sales and Food & Beverage teams to ensure compliance with specifications of weddings, conferences, and event details.
Requirements:- 3 years experience in a similar position in a busy 4-star hotel with an excellent reputation.
- Candidates must have fluent English language skills, IT proficiency, and current legal status to live and work in Ireland.
- Experience working early and late shifts is essential.
- A professional style, outgoing personality, and friendly demeanor are required.
