Hotel Night Porter Job Opportunity

This is a part-time position requiring an average of 24 hours per week over 7 nights, working in conjunction with the hotel's night porter team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for general supervision of the hotel overnight following handover from the late duty manager, as well as performing various duties such as reception, cleaning and food and beverage department tasks.

  • General night porter duties including set up of conference/function rooms.

Requirements include previous experience as a night porter within a 3/4* property, proficiency in English, both written and spoken, excellent customer care skills and strong people skills.

  • 2 years prior experience as a night porter required.
  • Previous experience working with a front office system is desirable for check-ins and check-outs.
  • Must have excellent knowledge of fire safety and health and safety regulations relevant to the role.
  • Must be available to work the required hours as set out above.
  • A current occupational first aid certificate is highly desirable but not essential.
