Hotel Banqueting Porter Role

The role of a Hotel Banqueting Porter is to provide administrative support to the Conference and Banqueting Team with reception duties and maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel on shift.

This will involve:

  • Supporting the team in executing banqueting duties according to the standard operating procedures.
  • Breakdown and setup of meeting rooms during the day/night.
  • Assisting conference and event organizers with the movement of luggage and equipment to and from meeting rooms.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of meeting rooms, break out spaces and back of house areas.
  • Cleaning all food and beverage preparation areas.
  • Organizing storage facilities in a safe and clean manner.

To be successful in this role you will require:

  • Previous experience working in a 4/5* Star Hotel environment would be beneficial.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
