Job Overview

The Relief Instructor is responsible for the development and implementation of training programs in accordance with local specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide structured training based on specified curricula, with a focus on instruction and module delivery for QQI Level certification 3-5.
  • Facilitate learner development by enhancing knowledge, skills, and confidence to achieve progression outcomes.
  • Meet key performance indicators related to learner placement, progression, and achievement of certification targets.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A third-level qualification, preferably within Education/Training or Social Sciences, is required.
  • A relevant pedagogical/training qualification, such as Train the Trainer QQI Level 6, is necessary.
  • Experience working with learners in educational, guidance, and developmental contexts is essential.
  • Previous experience in mental health-related areas and QQI certification processes is beneficial.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
