CPD Specialist Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Professional to lead our CPD strategy and foster a culture of continuous learning.

This pivotal role will enhance our CPD programme, ensuring it is effective, impactful and strategically aligned with business objectives.

The successful candidate will collaborate with sector leads and HR to deliver training initiatives, maintain certification with professional bodies and ensure compliance through internal & external audits.

  • Maintaining accreditation with Engineers Ireland as a CPD Accredited Employer
  • Developing and refining our CPD strategy, ensuring compliance and preparation for re-accreditation
  • Designing and delivering training programmes addressing skill gaps, considering industry trends, regulatory requirements and individual employee development goals
  • Promoting a culture of continuous learning through coaching, mentoring, workshops, knowledge sharing events and annual reviews
  • Coordinating and administering training activities, ensuring effective communication and enrolment
  • Tracking and reporting on training effectiveness through data analysis and feedback
  • Identifying improvements and making recommendations for adjustments
  • Monitoring and auditing employee training records to verify compliance with mandatory training requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Learning and Development role, preferably within engineering, consultancy or technical/professional services environment
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent would be advantageous
  • A working knowledge of professional body accreditation requirements is beneficial
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and implementation is desirable
  • Data driven approach to evaluating learning outcomes and identifying development opportunities
  • Knowledge of CPD frameworks and audit processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach to continuous improvement
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team

The location for this role will be in Dublin, with occasional travel to other sites required.

About the Ideal Candidate:

The location for this role will be in Dublin, with occasional travel to other sites required.
