Project Coordinator - Laboratory and Canteen Expansion

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to support the design, construction, and commissioning of a laboratory and canteen expansion project in a live pharmaceutical facility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical facility design, laboratory renovations, and project coordination. They will be responsible for coordinating with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, site managers, and end-users.

About the Role
  • Coordinate client-side design team activities with Company Design Team Resources, Site SMEs, and Client's Engineering Technical Authority (ETA)
  • Lead client-side design reviews and coordinate stakeholder participation
  • Support site facility and utility walkdowns by Third-Party designers
  • Act as point of contact for technical queries related to assigned scopes of work
  • Generate project execution schedule with A&E Designers and End-Users
  • Coordinate Site Facilities, Engineering, and End Users in relation to Site Engineering Change Management process
  • Liaise with C&Q for commissioning / qualification of Laboratory and Canteen systems
  • Support handover process of systems / facilities to Engineering and Laboratory End-Users
Requirements
  • Degree-level qualification in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or similar/equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical Facility, Laboratory and/or Canteen design / build / commission / start-up
  • Previous experience in laboratory renovations, and/or refit in a live working environment, including coordination with end-users
  • Relevant experience in Laboratory retrofits and Canteen Expansions
  • Ability to challenge, defend, and present technical aspects of design and commissioning
