We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our award-winning kitchen team at a prestigious Hotel and Golf Club in Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to showcase their culinary expertise and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of experience in a similar establishment, with a strong focus on seasonality, Irish origin, and respect for ingredients. They will be highly motivated, standards-driven, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • To run their own section efficiently, ensuring that every dish served meets consistently high standards within agreed timeframes.
  • To maintain a passion for food, particularly starters, and demonstrate flair in the presentation of dishes.
  • To work varying shifts, including daytime, weekends, and evenings, as required by the business.
  • To ensure compliance with HACCP and Food Safety Regulations, documenting all procedures accurately.
  • To liaise and communicate effectively with colleagues, providing a professional, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
  • To work collaboratively with the team to ensure that designated areas are properly prepared and set up prior to and after service.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in the industry, with a proven track record in operations with Banqueting and Fine Dining.
  • A recognized qualification essential for this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's license is advantageous.
