We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Project Coordination Specialist.

Job Description:

The Project Coordination Specialist will be responsible for monitoring progress, collaborating on problem-solving, and communicating project impacts to stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending key meetings
  • Conducting site inspections to review quality assurance/quality control and commissioning processes
  • Continuously reviewing best practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions
  • Crafting and implementing commissioning strategies and procedures
  • Driving project commissioning processes, including scope and schedule
  • Effectively communicating project progress, scope, schedule, and budget updates to stakeholders
  • Oversight and performance management of vendors
  • Facilitating vendor project manager meetings
  • IDentifying and managing scopes, timelines, budgets, and project interdependencies between key partners
  • Issue identification and resolution through collaborative efforts with the team
  • Overseeing client-appointed commissioning teams
  • Independent support of the Data Centre Commissioning Program

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • A thorough understanding of UPS systems, switchgear, generators, and critical mechanical systems
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing detailed commissioning scripts
  • Experience in project management on a data centre project
  • A degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline
  • A passion for building strong relationships with teams and clients through shared purpose and openness
