We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, efficiently responding to inbound marketing leads, understanding prospect needs, building relationships, conducting high-level conversations with senior executives, and evangelizing Okta's products.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your sales and negotiation skills to drive business growth and revenue expansion. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strong relationships with clients, and exceed monthly quotas of qualified opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business prospects to fuel the sales pipeline.
  • Efficiently Respond to Inbound Marketing Leads: Respond promptly and effectively to inbound marketing leads, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion into qualified opportunities.
  • Understand Prospect Needs: Develop in-depth knowledge of prospect needs, pain points, and goals to build strong relationships and tailor Okta's solutions accordingly.
  • Conduct High-Level Conversations: Engage in high-level conversations with senior executives to understand their business challenges and demonstrate Okta's value proposition.
  • Evangelize Okta: Passionately promote Okta's products and services, highlighting their unique features and benefits.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Fluency in Dutch: Strong proficiency in written and spoken Dutch is essential for effective communication with clients and prospects.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
  • High Motivation and Drive: Self-motivated and driven individual with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Ability to Work in a Dynamic Environment: Adaptable and flexible team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply and effectively.
