Lead Cancer Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled senior physiotherapist to join our oncology, haematology and radiotherapy services. As a senior physiotherapist in these services, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with cancer.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience working in acute oncology, radiotherapy and haematology services, as well as general knowledge and experience in cancer rehabilitation. You will be responsible for leading and managing the lymphoedema service, and providing physiotherapy and cancer rehabilitation services for weekend and on-call periods.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients, including those with musculoskeletal complications arising from cancer surgery and radiotherapy. The successful candidate will have recent relevant experience in the management of these complications, as well as training and clinical experience in lymphoedema management.
The candidate will also have a deep understanding of health service reform programs and national clinical care programmes. You will be required to work autonomously and as part of a team, using your expertise to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the needs of individual patients.
