Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, including planned and unplanned maintenance of plant and utilities.

This is a part-time role that requires the ability to work weekend shifts, day shifts.


About the Role
  • Support facilities management, planned maintenance, health & safety, and energy management to ensure a safe, comfortable, and cost-effective environment.
  • Handle both planned and unplanned maintenance of plant and utilities according to EHS and Quality standards.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and general building maintenance.
  • Conduct planned preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Identify and fix equipment maintenance issues.
  • Service electrical, mechanical, and non-technical equipment.
  • Respond to help desk queries and resolve faults.
  • Assist subcontractors and maintain records.
  • Install new plant and equipment.
  • Use and maintain CMMS/CAFM systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legislative requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong background in electrical or mechanical trades or a relevant engineering diploma.
  • At least 3 years of experience in utilities/facilities maintenance.
  • A proven track record in preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • A team player with good organizational skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, and physically fit.
