About the Job:The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating events and maintaining venue infrastructure, including furniture, fixtures, and fittings. They will ensure event layouts comply with client specifications and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead physical setup and breakdown of events, including furniture, staging, signage, and décor.
- Conduct regular checks of venue infrastructure and report any faults or defects to the line manager promptly.
- Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and presentation across all areas.
- Operate and maintain AV equipment, lighting, Wi-Fi, and other venue-specific technologies.
- Minimum 1 year's experience as a facilities coordinator and/or events operative.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience performing manual handling tasks safely and effectively.
- Clear communicator with the ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
