Job Title: Senior Bar Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in hiring, training and supervising bar staff, including bartenders, barbacks, and servers.
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff attendance to ensure adequate coverage during busy periods.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering and receiving supplies, monitoring stock levels, and controlling costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as liquor licensing laws.
  • Collaborate with the Bar Manager to develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks when necessary.
  • Ensure prompt and accurate billing, handle cash transactions, and reconcile daily sales reports.
  • Work closely with the Bar Manager to develop and implement promotional activities to increase sales and attract new customers.
  • Assist in organizing and conducting training sessions for staff members on topics such as mixology, product knowledge, and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years Supervisory/Management experience in a busy Bar/Restaurant environment.
  • A hands-on manager who leads by example.
  • Desire to train and motivate staff at all levels.
  • Exceptional customer service standards.
  • Proven ability to drive Revenue through various sales techniques and promotions.
  • Excellent knowledge of Cocktails, Wines, and Liquor.
