- Tenancy Support Specialist
About the Role:
The role of Tenancy Support Specialist is to provide intensive support to individuals who require it to sustain their tenancy in the community. This involves working closely with the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) to enhance the support of service users relating to a housing need.
The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting individuals in their local community and where appropriate in their own home, to provide support and assistance with tenancy-related issues.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced and qualified professional who has a strong understanding of child protection and welfare responsibilities and can respond appropriately to any concerns.
You will have a proven track record of working in a social care setting and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A full clean driving licence and ability to use your own car for work purposes is also required.

Requirements:
- A third level qualification to degree level in Social Care or a related field.
- Proven extensive experience working in a social care setting.
- Very good understanding of child protection and welfare responsibilities and appropriate responses to any concerns.
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviour.
- Willingness to develop professional skills as identified through supervision.
- Own car and full clean driving licence.
