
Civil Infrastructure Development Leader

We are seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to lead the delivery of key infrastructure projects in the Cork region. This role offers the chance to work on large-scale public lighting, utility, and civil engineering works across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the execution of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with health & safety, quality, cost, and programme targets.
- Monitor project performance and financials, including KPIs, budget tracking, billing, and cash flow, while implementing recovery plans as required.
- Develop detailed project schedules and resource plans, coordinating materials, plant, equipment, and personnel.
- Lead day-to-day coordination of crews, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and design teams, ensuring transparent and proactive communication.
- Prepare and deliver regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage scope changes, liaising with the QS team to ensure variation pricing and cost recovery.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to continuous development of project management systems.
- Build and lead a high-performing team aligned with company goals and values.
- Degree (Level 8) in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Minimum 5 years in a project management role within civil engineering or construction.
- Demonstrated success delivering civil infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
- Proven experience managing utility-related works and road opening licences.
- Experience working in environments with public lighting, EV charging, or sports lighting is advantageous.
