Job Description

We seek a highly skilled Enterprise Database Architect to lead the design, implementation, and management of our MS SQL database systems. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability of our databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day operational support for MS SQL servers, ensuring seamless database operations and minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and implement capacity planning strategies to optimize database performance and efficiency.
  • Implement patches, new releases, and suggest future system design directions to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Design, install, and maintain MS SQL servers in an enterprise production environment, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Improve and troubleshoot system performance, resolving issues promptly to ensure business continuity.
  • Plan and execute backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in T-SQL and Stored Procedures, with expertise in database design, development, and optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of replication, disaster recovery, and high-availability clusters, with experience in implementing these solutions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • 1+ year experience as a MS SQL Database Developer or similar role, with proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
