As a Energy Specialist, you will play a key role in Primark's global efforts to reduce its carbon footprint and improve its environmental sustainability. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of energy management practices and be able to apply this knowledge to drive positive change across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs throughout the organization;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement and implement sustainable solutions;
  • Monitor and report on energy usage and costs, identifying areas for optimization and implementing corrective actions as needed;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues on energy-related matters, ensuring that best practices are followed at all times;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of energy management, applying this knowledge to inform and support business decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Energy Management or Engineering;
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
  • Proven track record of success in reducing energy consumption and costs, with a strong understanding of energy management principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
