The company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Operations Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the logistics department, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations, managing driver schedules, and ensuring smooth communication with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily transport operations by scheduling routes, rerouting drivers, and resolving delivery issues.
  • Function as the point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth communication and timely deliveries.
  • Consult with drivers via phone, email, and internal systems to manage logistics effectively.
  • Support warehouse operations by picking and packing orders for dispatch.
  • Operate the counterbalance forklift to unload and manage incoming parcels.
  • Occasionally collect or deliver parcels within the Dublin region using company vehicles.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks, including maintaining records and supporting operational reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in airfreight exports or a related logistics role.
  • Strong understanding of export documentation, airfreight processes, and customs regulations highly desirable.
  • Flexibility to support both transport and warehouse functions as needed.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to manage multiple client needs.
  • Full EU B Drivers License.
  • Proficiency in logistics software specifically Azyra and Microsoft Office.
  • Counterbalance forklift certificate essential.
  • Familiarity with international shipping and GDP (Goods Distribution Practice)highly desirable.
