Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading legal practice as a Medical Law Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be supporting a Partner who handles complex, high-value claims on behalf of both hospitals and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage files, including importing guidelines, accessing documents, sending demand letters, and ensuring files are consistently updated.
  • Produce legal documents, such as affidavits and correspondence, as required.
  • Coordinate the team's monthly billing process, ensuring accurate and timely issuance of invoices.
  • Oversee diary management and scheduling, avoiding conflicts and ensuring efficient planning.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including arranging specialist appointments and gathering necessary materials.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of prior experience in a legal secretary role or similar, ideally supporting a team of solicitors in a busy environment. Proficiency in iManage or another case management system is essential, along with experience with client billing and file management.
