The role

This position will join our technical presales team to deliver presales technical solutions and designs to Ekco customers, ensuring alignment with our overall strategy. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for articulating and demonstrating technology solutions and services in line with our technology stack and service catalogue.

You will work closely with our customer base to understand their requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their business needs. Your excellent communication skills and ability to present complex technical subjects to non-technical audiences will be invaluable assets in this role.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver presales technical solutions and designs to Ekco customers, ensuring alignment with our overall strategy.
  • Collaborate with our customer base to understand their requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their business needs.
  • Present technology solutions and services to both technical and business audiences, using clear and concise language.
  • Provide clear and professional presales documentation using standard templates.
  • Lead a team in the delivery of solution-based responses, such as tenders.
  • Ensure adherence to professional standards in service performance and quality in all areas of the role.
  • Manage effective handover of solution scope and designs to our Project Delivery Teams.
  • Conduct routine updates and training sessions on new products and technologies available to our internal sales staff.
  • Stay ahead of the curve in providing new innovative services and solutions to our customers, presenting and selling these opportunities internally.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Presentation-ready knowledge and product expertise on key technologies and services.
  • Excellent technical knowledge in Cloud Architecture, Network infrastructure, Windows Server and Security solutions.
  • Experience in preparing business solution proposals and presenting these presentations to senior executives.
  • Able to react well to pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate successful delivery of multiple technical projects.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to assist translation of complex technical subjects for sometimes non-technical audiences.
  • Must have a full driving licence and be willing to travel to Ekco and client locations as required to complete project requirements.
  • Comfortable switching and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Able to approach, own and solve problems independently as well as part of a team.
  • Typically, this level resource should have over seven years of experience or more working within the IT Services Industry.
  • Highly motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Effective communicator with a positive and confident attitude both written and verbally.
  • Good written skills with capability to create well-formatted reports.
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is preferred (but not mandatory).
  • In-depth knowledge of our Microsoft cloud platforms e.g. Azure, EM+S, O365.
  • In-depth knowledge of technical solutions e.g. MS Defender, Windows Server, VMWare & Veeam.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the IT industry.
