Product Range Manager

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, sourcing and negotiating product categories, and ensuring the best product range meets customer needs.
Main Responsibilities- Build long-term supplier relationships and improve trading positions in a sustainable way.
- Support sales teams and branch staff with timely sourcing of materials.
- Review stock levels across multiple locations to ensure sufficient stock is available while allowing for unexpected supply chain issues.
- Manage stock deliveries from ports to branches, update staff on expected delivery dates, and lead complex negotiations with key suppliers.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in buying, procurement, or the Building Materials Industry.
- Knowledge of construction materials, industry regulations, and market trends.
- Proficiency in using category management software tools and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and diverse organisation, with strategic planning and project management skills.
