Electrical Estimator Role

This is a highly technical position in the construction sector, requiring strong analytical skills and knowledge of electrical trade practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Pricing complex projects, taking into account relevant drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Preparing detailed takeoffs and estimates for electrical packages of work.
  • Handover meeting with operations upon award of successful projects.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years postgraduate experience in the construction sector, specifically in electrical estimation or quantity surveying.
  • A recognized tertiary qualification in electrical trade, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field.
