Job Title: Support Worker
\About the Role:
\This role involves supporting adults and children with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, respectful, and safe environment.
\We are seeking a compassionate and committed support worker to join our residential services team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high standards of care and support in residential services.
\Key Responsibilities:
\- \
Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities
\Respond appropriately to challenging behaviours in both adults and children
\Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
\Build and maintain positive, professional relationships with service users, families, and other stakeholders
\Support the daily operation of residential services
\Ensure full compliance with HIQA standards and all residential care regulations
\
Essential Requirements:
\- \
QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support or a related field (full major award required)
\Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
\Full manual driving licence and access to own transport
\Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills
\A genuine interest in supporting people to live fulfilling and independent lives
\
