Hardware Repair Specialist Job

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Repair Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing IT equipment, ensuring all devices meet quality standards before dispatch. This role involves working with laptops, PCs, tablets, and related IT hardware, using skills such as soldering, component-level repairs, and troubleshooting.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair IT equipment including laptops, PCs, and tablets.
  • Replace and repair components such as motherboards, screens, batteries, and keyboards.
  • Perform soldering and board-level work where required.
  • Ensure all devices meet quality standards before dispatch.
  • Assist with order processing and support production workflow when necessary.
  • Work closely with colleagues to resolve complex repair issues and improve repair processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in repairing IT equipment.
  • Proficiency in hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
  • Soldering skills and ability to carry out component-level repairs (preferred).
  • Good communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on quality.
  • CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent IT hardware qualification is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum Leaving Certificate / High School diploma required; additional technical training or certifications preferred.
