About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with children and young people with complex needs. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of children with developmental disabilities and delivering tailored assessments, interventions, and treatment plans.

  • You will collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure seamless care and support.
  • Your expertise in occupational therapy will be invaluable in mentoring junior staff and contributing to service development.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children with developmental disabilities, providing expert assessment and intervention services.
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through effective communication and teamwork.
  • Mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in occupational therapy.
  • Contribute to service development by sharing best practices and innovative approaches.
Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years' post-qualification experience in a related field.
  • CORU registration or eligibility.
  • Experience working with children with complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Full driving licence.
