Quality Engineer Job Opportunity

A 12-month contract role offers a comprehensive benefits package and requires up to 20% travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess supplier processes and control documentation, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of supplier performance metrics.
  • Communicate detailed supplier performance results and trends to senior management.
  • Develop and implement effective quality improvement plans.
  • Maintain and track supplier action plan completion.
  • Provide expert training and problem-solving support at supplier locations.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities at suppliers and execute strategies to realize savings.
  • Share knowledge gained from suppliers with internal teams.
  • Support less experienced engineers in their development through training and mentorship.
  • Collaborate with third-party auditors on supplier quality engineering deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a science, engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment.
