Job Opportunity: Facilities Maintenance Technician

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced maintenance technician to join our team. As a facilities maintenance technician, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance duties in a warehouse / distribution center.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oiling, greasing, and adjustments to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of conveyor belts, motors, bearings, and other mechanical components.
  • Carry out building repairs including racking repairs, concrete repairs, and miscellaneous fixtures.
  • Complete assigned projects such as lighting installations, equipment installations, construction, and tear-outs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals and objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • General maintenance knowledge and skills to replace motors, bearings, drive components, hydraulic systems, and other mechanical components.
  • Basic construction and plumbing knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated individual who can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Other Information:

  • The successful candidate must have 1 year of experience in a maintenance function, preferably in a distribution or industrial environment.
